Scythamines

This Order groups together several families of tropical herbaceous plants or those from warm areas.
Among them there are some very important for human consumption, such as banana (plantain), and pineapple (American pineapple).
The banana, despite its size, is a giant herb that forms its stem by overlapping its leaves.
It has female flowers that become the fruit or banana.
Other plants in this Order are turmeric, cardamom, ginger, etc.
