Cruciferous

It is a large family of plants with about 3,500 species, which are characterized by their cross-shaped flowers, with four petals and six stamens.

They are usually yellow, white or pink, and form densely grouped clusters.

The fruits are generally long and narrow.

They have great economic importance, since many of their species are grown in orchards and are edible.

Others are wild and some are called weeds.
