Pantopods or pygnogonids are marine chelicerate arthropods.
The body is very small.
It has a head with three pairs of appendages (chelicerae, palps and ovigers), a trunk and a very small abdomen.
They have four pairs of long legs and with ovigers they carry masses of eggs.
They have four simple eyes.
They breathe through the skin.
The larvae are parasitic and the adults are predators.
