Fuertes heladas y nieve que dificultan la accesibilidad. En los árboles, tan sólo quedan las hojas marcescentes del quercus faginea. Hay flor en el abedul y fruto en el espino amarillo, serbal, rosa silvestre, prunnus, fagus y aligustre. Aún en celo el sarrio y el quebrantahuesos, y próxima la fredación de las truchas. Ha terminado la migración de las aves y sólo se ven vuelos de algunos ejemplares aislados de camachuelos, zorzales y petirrojos. Por el contrario se han observado grandes bandadas de chovas piquigualdas y fringílidos. En el pantano de Búbal han permanecido algunos días dos ejemplares de garza real.
