Las lluvias han sido muy abundantes y copiosas en el Valle de Tena, y las nevadas caídas ya han situado la cota de nieve en los 2.600 metros. Los pantanos tienen niveles altos para la época, el de Búbal está al 40% de capacidad y el de Lanuza al 65%. El paisaje del inicio del otoño todavía no ha adquirido los pardos, amarillos y ocres característicos, debido a la humedad de los últimos días, aunque comienza la caída de las hojas en algunas especies. La flor del acónito amarillo es la más persistente en estas fechas, mientras que abundan los frutos del rosal silvestre, sauco, gayuba y el propio acónito.
