El paisaje estival marcado por las zonas forestales verdes en contraste con prados y pastizales amarillentos por el estiaje. El pasado día dos de agosto se registraron nevadas por encima de los 2.900 metros y aún hoy se mantienen los neveros. Sin embargo, en la cabecera del Río Gállego los caudales son mínimos, menores de ochenta litros por segundo. Las altas temperaturas y la poca lluvia también en esta zona llevan a un estado moderado de riesgo de incendios.
Los colores de las flores de Orégano, Senecio, Violas y Clematis, conviven con los rojos y rosados de fresas silvestres, grosellas y los serbales, que empiezan a madurar, aunque no lo estarán plenamente hasta el próximo mes.
Junto con las crías de aves en sus primeros vuelos, se han observado esta semana Buitres leonados, en grupos, en vuelos de prospección, y un Aguila culebrera sobre los pastizales, además de un Armiño entre las rocas en Formigal.
