Un fresco viento del noroeste ha producido una sensible bajada de las temperaturas, que se han mantenido agradables. El paisaje es plenamente estival: bosques y praderas verdes y, en la zona de montano subalpino, gramíneas en flor.
Todas las aves están en periodo de cortejo, anidamientos, ceba y cría. Se escuchan alondras, choras, y alguna codorniz. Se pueden ver los roqueros rojos alimentando a sus crías, y también las evoluciones de las rapaces: el águila culebrera, el milano negro, el cernícalo. En las charcas, a las cucharetas les están saliendo patas, y en las orillas los primeros "sapos parteros" han dejado ya sus puestas.
En los pastizales las vacas encuentran hierba abundante, mientras yeguas y ovejas buscan con preferencia el regaliz, que está en floración.
