La nieve permanece por encima de los 1.600 metros, pero ya podemos hablar de un aspecto paisajístico cercano al primaveral. Comienza el deshielo, lo que produce un cierto enturbamiento de las aguas en la cabecera del río Gállego; en contraste con las nítidas aguas del río Aguas Limpias por Sallent.
Se producen las primeras fases de la brotación de yemas en las frondosas. Hay flores de "potentilla" y verónica, y permanece el fruto del muérdago.
FAUNA: Comienzan a llegar las especies de aves estivales, que criarán en la montaña pirenaica. Es el caso de la primera pareja avistada en el año de águilas culebreras, en vuelos de cortejo. En este valle es posible el avistamiento de un gran número de aves, como el alimoche, quebrantahuesos, buitre, halcón peregrino, escribanos montesino y cerillo, petirrojo, carbonero, pinzón, camachuelo, mosquitero...
Desde el pasado 15 de marzo se ha abierto la temporada de pesca, en aguas no consideradas de montaña, para la trucha.
