Las bajas temperaturas nocturnas hacen que la humedad del ambiente se quede prendida en las hojas y ramas de la vegetación, llegando a cubrir por las mañanas todos los árboles y arbustos con una fina capa de hielo. Barro y hielo complican la accesibilidad en las pistas forestales situadas en umbrías. Sólo el romero continúa en flor y conservan sus frutos las sabinas, enebros y rebollos. Zorros, jabalíes y algunas rapaces están en época de apareamiento y reproducción y las especies migratorias asentadas en el territorio.
