Se acerca el final del ciclo otoñal. Las hojas de los álamos temblones se tiñen de rojo cobrizo y el avellano cambia su verde amarillento por el marrón. A pesar del avanzado otoño, persisten algunas flores de armeria, romero y biércol. Coníferas como el pino rodeno están a punto de madurar sus frutos. Tras los ciervos, son los jabalíes los que han entrado en época de celo. La becada o chocha perdiz viene a invernar en algunas zonas de la sierra y se observan algunos turcazos que no han emigrado. Los amantes de la fotografía pueden disfrutar estos días, si acompaña el sol, de los mejores colores a primeras horas de la mañana y caída de la tarde, con azules luminosos del cielo y mezcla increíble de colores de las hojas de los árboles en valles y barrancos, como en las Tajadas.
