Frondosas y coníferas se encuentran en pleno período vegetativo. Se observa el crecimiento de sus hojas y tallos. El acebo va perdiendo sus flores y formando sus nuevos frutos. Saliendo de Albarracín, por la senda que lleva hasta la hoya del "Pajar Quemado", pueden contemplarse plantas aromáticas en plena floración: tomillos, salvias y cantuesos. Los márgenes y ribazos lucen los arbustos de rosales silvestres, majuelos y endrinos, en los que la fauna silvestre encuentra cantidad de frutos comestibles, y la cultura del hombre ha aprovechado para su consumo, caso del pacharán hecho con los frutos del endrino.
Codornices y abejarrucos ya han llegado a sus lugares de reproducción, siendo éstas especies las últimas en acceder a la sierra. Los pollos del halcón peregrino ya han abandonado sus nidos y ya se han visto los primeros gabatos de ciervo.
