El otoño se ha despedido con nieve y lluvia, por lo que todos los barrancos y vallejos del rodeno son lugares por los que corren las aguas. Es un buen momento para estudiar las características de las hojas caídas, que cubren los suelos en abundancia. Por ejemplo, el marojo (Quercus pyrenaica) es un árbol que en otoñoo tiene bellotas y en invierno hojas secas. Si recogemos una hoja del suelo, puede apreciarse al tacto una especie de pelusa que la recubre, con el borde liso, aserrado y ondulado. En el fondo de algún valle, empiezan a aparecer las primeras flores colgando de las sargas, árbol de la familia de los sauces.
FAUNA: Ha aumentado la presencia de pitos o zorzales alirrojos, la especie más pequeña de la familia de las tordejas que invernan en la sierra de Albarracín.
