Una línea separa el paisaje de invierno del primaveral en la Sierra del Moncayo, muy vistosa desde las zonas inferiores del macizo, donde se observa la transición progresiva del marrón al verde de las nuevas hojas.
Los pinares y la frondosa vegetación de hayas, robles, rebollos y encinas, en la vertiente norte de la sierra, protagonizan la invasión de tonos primaverales en el enclave zaragozano. Sin embargo, desde los 1.600 metros, los brotes esperan a que se mantenga cierta suavidad en las temperaturas y el paisaje ofrece aún un aspecto algo seco.
