La nieve espolvorea las masas forestales de pinos y abetos. Su manto se ha hecho más uniforme en las zonas supraforestales. Precipitaciones ligeras en forma de nieve, alternadas con momentos de sol espléndido. La accesibilidad todavía es difícil en algunos puntos, por hielo y nieve acumulada. El riesgo de incendios es alto al estar el suelo y la vegetación relativamente secos.
Los álamos temblones despuntan sus primeras hojas. Tan sólo los frutos del acebo aportan nutrientes ricos en vitaminas para las aves de paso, que comienzan a ser numerosas: cerceta común, garza real, trepador azul, zorzal y milano.
Los corzos ya han desarrollado su cuerna, recubierta por la borra de tejido vivo que la envuelve durante su crecimiento. Yeguas y vacas comienzan a salir a los prados próximos a las cuadras y establos donde han pasado el invierno.
