El blanco de la nieve ha pasado a formar parte del paisaje del Parque, en las cumbres por encima de los 2.000 metros. La primera semana de noviembre ha sido de lluvias abundantes, nieve y heladas, y se han llegado a producir algunas riadas sobre la pista de Estós, y la de acceso a la Besurta. Los árboles de hoja caduca lucen ya las ramas desnudas.
Este año se observan muy pocas avellanas. Los habitantes de esta zona se refieren a un refrán popular que relaciona la abundancia de este fruto con los nacimientos: "An d'abellanes, an de dones preñades" (Año de avellanas, año de mujeres embarazadas).
FAUNA: Se ha llegado a avistar un cormorán, aunque no es habitual. Los armiños ya tienen el pelaje completamente blanco y comienza el letargo del lirón gris y el careto.
