El cierzo como protagonista del clima, junto con la ausencia de precipitaciones. Las hojas de los chopos muestran el color amarillo, las de los quejigos, marcescentes y las de lentiscos y arces de color rojo. Frutos muy maduros en los almeces y las encinas. Las truchas han iniciado el desove. Comienza la época de celo en los cangrejos de río. Se observan numerosos vuelos migratorios del zorzal alirrojo y la paloma torcaz, y también el paso de fringílidos como las cardelinas, y los pinzones. Se practica la caza menor, con pocas capturas, y mayor, con capturas abundantes de jabalí.
