Sólo las partes altas de Guara permanecen con nieve, pero el paisaje general ha adoptado ya el tono verde. Las hojas de las hayas y los álamos han comenzado a brotar, y los pinos están en crecimiento. Abundan flores de prímulas o primaveras, orquídeas silvestres y, sobre todo, el tono rojo fuerte de las amapolas.
La vida animal sigue renovándose, con el comienzo de la nidificación y puesta de los cucos y críalos, y la llegada de abejarucos, vencejos comunes y reales. Van llegando de forma tardía las golondrinas y se han producido las primeras observaciones de alcotanes.
Desde su inauguración el pasado 29 de abril, puede visitarse los fines de semana el Centro de Interpretación del Parque de Guara situado en Bierge.
