Cada vez es más evidente el aspecto primaveral del parque, con numerosas floraciones entre las que destacan las orquídeas, los narcisos, los lirios, las violetas, la aliaga y el romero. Se ha iniciado el periodo vegetativo en coníferas, chopos y "quercus", y hay frutos incipientes en almendros y frutales.
La accesibilidad de las pistas es buena y ha comenzado ya la práctica del barranquismo en algunas zonas, como el Barranco del Fornocal en Colungo.
FAUNA: Pueden observarse alimoches, quebrantahuesos, halcones y águilas culebreras y perdiceras.
