La zona norte del Parque, tras las abundantes lluvias, presenta un paisaje húmedo y verde, en el que las masas de frondosas se desdibujan entre las neblinas de primeras horas de la mañana, salpicadas aquí y allá por fuertes tonalidades amarillas y rojas. Ha aparecido ya la primera capa de nieve en el tozal y las gleras de Guara (2.077 m.).
FAUNA:Ha iniciado la época de celo la Cabra montés y las cabras asilvestradas, y los hábitos de parada nupcial el Quebrantahuesos, que en la zona se le conoce como "Alica roya" o "Cluchigüesos". Se observan bandadas de aves migratorias, especialmente zorzales, grullas y milano real.
