Los árboles de hoja caduca empiezan a amarillear. Los madroños están en fruto, con su rojo rutilante. Se pueden ver a pie de carretera entre Bierge y Rodellar. Entre los árboles singulares de Guara merece una visita el roble de San Urbez, cerca de Nocito. Al sur, está el Barranco de la Pillera, donde hay un bosque mixto en el que también está mudando el color de las frondosas, especialmente las hayas.
