Ha habido vientos fuertes y fríos que han ralentizado el desarrollo iniciado de animales y plantas con la llegada de la primavera. Aún así, ya es posible observar flores de verónicas y de Matthiola en los rincones más soleados y protegidos. Del mismo modo, el espino albar ha comenzado a poblar de hojas sus ramas, adelantándose a los álamos, olmos, sauces y fresnos que indicarán su salida del letargo invernal con la apertura de sus flores en primer lugar. Entre las aves, sólo los patos han comenzado con sus cortejos y ya es posible observar algunas paradas nupciales enter los ánades frisos, los ánades reales y las cercetas comunes.
