Las bajas temperaturas y las nieblas muy densas han dominado durante las últimas fechas y las pocas precipitaciones ha mantenido estable el caudal del Ebro. Una vez cosechado el maíz se están roturando y preparando los campos para la próxima siembra. La tierra removida atrae a bandos de pequeñas aves (lavanderas, pinzones, jilgueros) que buscan en la tierra los invertebrados. Otras aves como avefrías, estorninos, y algun chorlito dorado acuden a los primeros riegos y son reclamo a su vez para otras aves de presa: el aguilucho lagunero, el ratonero o el cernícalo.
